Weekend Events July 26th – 28th


This weekend will be a fairly low-key one for Belen but there are still some opportunities for fun, exploration, and healthcare. Check them out below.

Friday, July 26th

Dental Screenings – 8am – 5pm – Belen Public Health Office – The Belen Public Health Office, 617 Becker Ave., Belen, will offer dental screenings and fluoride varnish on a walk-in basis during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1-5 p.m., on Friday, July 26.

Belen Back-to-School Vaccinations – 9am – 4pm – Belen Public Health Office – NMHealth’s Belen Public Health Office will be providing no cost back-to-school vaccinations for all children aged 18 and younger regardless of whether they are a patient or have insurance.
Appointments are preferred. To make an appointment or get additional information call the Belen Public Health Office at 505-864-7743.
While immunizations are provided at no cost to parents, those attending are asked to please bring their child’s shot record and Medicaid or private health insurance card if they have insurance. No one will be turned away if they don’t have insurance.

Summer Reading Party – 1pm – 6pm – Belen Public Library – Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of games, crafts, and activities to celebrate the end of the Summer Reading Program! 🥳

Belen Farmers’ Market – 4:30pm – 7pm – Anna Becker Park – Come out and support our local farmers! Fresh fruits and vegetables will be available at the Belen farmers market.

Saturday, July 27th

BINGO – 11am – La Merced Moose Lodge – BINGO will be held at the La Merced Moose Lodge and is open to the public. Join them on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The doors will open at 11am and the game will start at 1pm. A starter pack is $15 with a Black Out Jackpot of $500! The snack bar will be open.

Sunday, July 28th

Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am – 3pm – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
