Veterans and Service Dogs
The Belen Masonic Lodge is hosting an event celebrating veterans and service dogs from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at the lodge, 607 Goebel Ave., Belen. The celebration will feature a presentation by Paws and Stripes, an Albuquerque nonprofit that rescues dogs from shelters and trains them to be support animals for veterans.
