Friends of Whitfield annual meeting

The public is cordially invited to attend the Friends of Whitfield annual meeting from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Whitfield Wildlife Conservation Area visitor center, 2424 N.M. 47, north of Rio Communities.

There will also be a special presentation by Jackie Leyba, outdoor recreation planner for the Bureau of Land Management, followed by a birthday celebration for the Friends of Whitfield with cake and refreshments served. All are welcome.

The Friends of Whitfield is a non-profit organization supporting the Whitified Wildlife Conservation Area by promoting restoration, education and conservation.
