Belen is in the heart of the beautiful southwestern state of New Mexico. We are nestled in the Rio Abajo valley, between the majestic Manzano Mountains and the West Mesa. The famous Rio Grande runs right through our community, which helps supply the water for many family farms. We grow famous New Mexican chile, onions, alfalfa and a variety of vegetables and fruits including wine grapes.
