Friday, November 29th

Black Friday Craft Fair – 7am – 12pm – Hozho Nutrition – Join us for a morning of shopping and sipping! 11th Annual Pet Food Drive – 9am – 5pm – Valencia Animal Clinic – Valencia Animal Clinic, 1533 E. River Road, Belen, is holding its 11th annual pet food drive. The goal is to collect 2,000 pounds of pet food for dogs and cats. Food and monetary donations are being accepted until Jan. 10. Donations will be distributed by the Belen Area Food Pantry to Valencia County residents. For information, call 505-864-4075.

Sunday, December 1st

Historic Tomé Jail and Casita Open to the Public – 11am – 3pm – Historic Tomé Jail – The town of Tomé Land Grant invites the public to visit the historic jail and casita at the Tomé Church Plaza, 18 Church Loop. Visitors are welcomed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.

Los Pastores de Belen – 4pm – Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church – Los Pastores de Belen presents a “Traditional Christmas Play” at 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 1, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. The production is a version of the Shepherd’s play performed in New Mexico for centuries. It is performed by amateur actors who have been presenting and keeping this traditional play alive.
