Arts & Cultural District Progress Meeting 1

Belen MainStreet Partnership is working toward Arts and Cultural District State Authorization by the end of the year. Our vision is a vibrant arts andentertainment destination for residents and visitors that is anchored in ourlocal heritage and builds upon 400 years of developing our unique culturalassets, creating economic vitality for our community while retaining ourfriendly, small-town atmosphere.

We are in the final phase of the Cultural Economic Development lan and invite you to participate! Belen MainStreet Partnership, the Belen Art League, and the City of Belen invite you to learn more about the effort and provide input and feedback. This is your opportunity to share your thoughts and feedback on potential district projects and opportunities! Your perspective matters to the success of our Arts and Cultural District, so please plan to attend.

Progress Meeting 1 – June 22nd, 2024 at 10am

Progress Meeting 2 – Aug. 24, 2024 at 10am

Join us as we share planning strategies and projects developed from community ideas and feedback from Progress Meeting 1 and highlights from the working draft for community input.

Progress Meeting 3 – Sept. 21, 2024 at 10am

Join us as we present the draft Arts and Cultural Economic Plan, share your feedback, and learn about the next steps toward State Authorization.

All of the meetings will be held at the Belen Public Library.
